因為其製作只有兩個步驟：
1. 是由椰子樹（不是椰子喔）的汁液與花液採集到容器中
2. 汁液先進行蒸發，待其乾燥結晶後，做成小顆粒狀就完成了。

椰子花蜜的生產非常慢，採收不易，通常20公斤的椰子花蜜，只能做出1~2公斤的椰糖，因此彌足珍貴。
